International Days are very important in our lives they connect us with a cause or idea of community welfare or history. These days can be proposed by UN members and are established by resolutions of the United Nations or of UN agencies like UNESCO, UNEP, and WHO.
They are meant to raise awareness for global problems, to remember and commemorate past events, and celebrate culture, nature, and world heritage.
On many of them, activities and celebrations take place around the world.
अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय दिवसों का हमारे जीवन में बहुत महत्व होता है | यह हमें किसी मुद्दे या विचार से जुड़ने के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं जिससे मानव कल्याण का कोई न कोई विचार जुडा होता है |इन दिनों को शुरू करने के लिए यूनाइटेड नेशंस के सदस्य देशों के द्वारा रेजोल्यूशन प्रस्तुत किये जाते हैं और इनपर विचार करके यूनाइटेड नेशंस या उसकी घटक संस्थाओं जैसे यूनेस्को , यू.एन .ई.पी.और वर्ल्ड हेल्थ ओर्गानाईजेशन द्वारा घोषित किये जाते हैं |
इनका उद्देश्य वैश्विक स्तर पर समस्याओं का निराकरण करना होता है इन्हें मनाने के लिये पूरी दुनिया भर में मिलजुल कर कार्यक्रम आयोजित किये जाते हैं |
